Восстания в Андах и колониальная юстиция. Восстание в Чайянте (1777-1780)

Данная статья рассматривает идейные основы индейского восстания под руководством Томаса Катари в верхнеперуанской провинции Чайянта в период 1777-1780 гг. Проанализированы политические причины коллективных действий крестьян с акцентом на формально-юридической стороне конфликта внутри имперской колониальной бюрократии. Это позволит показать, как ограниченные цели индейцев, «реформистские» задачи определялись политическими основами испанского колониального строя. Восстание в Покоате в августе 1780 г. как высшая точка движения крестьян завершило процесс, прошедший путь от традиционного юридического ритуала колониального режима к политическому потрясению в провинции.
