Life and works of Mikhail Alperovich

The author analyses the biography and historical works of Russian historian Moisey Samoylovich Alperovich. The article shows the formation of the scientist who passed through the battles of Great Patriotic War, the difficulties of post-war period, the time of wide recognition. There are a brief analysis of the books and articles published by Alperovich during 70 years of his scientific creation. The author emphasizes the attractive features of the personality of historian: honesty, diligence, research talent.
