ECHOES OF KRONSTADT. FROM EUPHORIA TO DISILLUSION: RESONANCES OF THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTION IN THE IBERO-AMERICAN ANARCHIST MEDIA DOI: 10.32608/2305-8773-2019-22-1-60-59
Abstract: This article, offers a panoramic view of the Russian Revolution’s impact on the printed media of Ibero-American anarchism. The article traces the trajectory that followed the global anarchism from enthusiasm to disenchantment with respect to Russian revolutionary process, taking as reference the most outstanding anarchist publications in North and South America, as well as in the Iberian Peninsula, since the last decades of the 19th century. It also shows how the Kronstadt rebellion, the breaking point in this process, started a period of ideological disputes between anarchists and Bolsheviks that would became a worldwide campaign of denunciations against what, from the perspective of anarchism, was considered the emergence of a new tyranny.
