THE FORMATION OF THE IDEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE CUBAN REVOLUTION
The article examines the difficult period in the life of Fidel Castro, his imprisonment on Pines island (September 1953 – May 1955). During these 20 months the ideology of the Cuban revolution was shaped in its main parts, the ideological and political foundations of the "Movement of 26th of July" were laid and cadres of the revolution were prepared.
